The Gomaespuma Foundation was born from the initiative of journalists Juan Luis Cano and Guillermo Fesser, driven by the generosity of the audience of their iconic radio program Gomaespuma. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked to promote access to education and culture as tools for social transformation, especially among the most vulnerable groups. Throughout its history, it has developed and financed projects in Sri Lanka, Nicaragua, Senegal, Congo, and Spain, in collaboration with local organizations that have firsthand knowledge of the realities of their communities. These projects have stable and continuous funding, aimed at ensuring their sustainability over time and their real impact on the ground.

Gomaespuma Foundation collaborates in the Congo through the NGO, “Fesser and Friends Center for Hope” and with the local NGO “SNH – National Organization Sowers of New Hope” to support the boys and girls victims of the massacres in the territory of Beni, so that they can continue their studies.
Health and hygiene project in Diembering. Fundación Gomaespuma together with Fundación Cione Ruta de la Luz we have carried out ophthalmological check-ups and given glasses to 680 people who today can approach life with optimism.
We joined forces with José Carlos Gracia (creator of the History of Spain podcast “Memorias de un tambor”) and Eutsi Ukrania to raise funds and finance aid to Ukrainian mothers and girls displaced by the war.
Fundación Gomaespuma and Think Equal, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Youth of the Community of Madrid, implement the pilot social-emotional education program “Think Equal” in 25 schools in 4 years with the aim of scaling it to all of Spain.
